October 2016 | Aria hosts Smith Family Foundation Event
As a key sponsor of the Smith Family, Aria hosted fifty students from Maroochydore State High School as part of the Work Inspiration program to provide an insight to the working world of property and retail operation. Aria’s partners including PBS Building, RotheLowman and Billykart West End provided the unique experience for the young students to get a taste of work in the different facets of property development.
September 2016 | Botanica Residences wins multiple Master Builders Awards
Aria is proud to announce Botanica Residences has won the Environmental Excellence, Brisbane and QLD Master Builder’s Award for high-rise residential over $20million. August 2016 | Ivy Terrace Complete
The second installment of Aria’s master planned community, Ivy Terrace, is now complete. Offering a new paradigm of integrated retail and public realm to the community, the building brings together the completion of the Eden Laneway, consisting of high quality retailers Coffee Supreme and Jimmy Rod's Salon.
July 2016 | Eden Lane Complete
Aria’s Woolloongabba master planned community has now seen the delivery of its first building, Eden Lane. The boutique development featuring 56 units is now fully settled and leased, setting a new precedent for residential living in Woolloongabba. The building offers premium residential amenities and ground floor tenant, bespoke chocolatier, 31 Degrees Chocolates.
June 2016 | Aria's Inaugural Fish Lane Festival
May of 2016 marked Aria’s inaugural Fish Lane Festival. Over 7,000 attendees came to celebrate the event alongside Brisbane’s best retailers including Madame Wu, Julius Pizzeria, Gauge, Billykart West End, Bird’s Nest, Maker, The Fox Hotel, Gunshop Café and Gelato Messina. The event was a major success and Aria expects it to become bigger and better each year.
May 2016 | Gelato Messina’s Flagship Store in ARIA’s Melbourne Residences
Aria’s The Melbourne Residences will be home to Gelato Messina’s flagship store. They have committed to prime ground floor space fronting the Melbourne Street boulevard and will be their largest in the country. Gelato Messina has existing locations in Surrey Hills and Bondi in Sydney and Fitzroy in Melbourne and has built up a cult like following.
April 2016 | World Class $100m Aquarium Proposed for South Bank
A world-class aquarium is part of a proposed $100 million redevelopment of the Queensland Maritime Museum in South Bank. Premier Palaszczuk said the proposal for the museum and aquarium project could attract up to 750,000 visitors a year, contributing up to $200 million a year to the Queensland economy.
March 2016 | South Brisbane hosts The World Science Festival
South Brisbane hosted The World Science Festival bringing some of the world's greatest thought leaders to Queensland. Live and digital content allowed audiences to engage with the scientific discoveries through discussions, debates, theatrical works, interactive explorations and musical performances.
February 2016 | Saccharomyces Beer Café joins Fish Lane
Aria’s revitalisation of Fish Lane has added Saccharomyces Beer Café to the mix. Aria took out a head lease on a disused garden bed on Fish Lane and converted the space. This is part of Aria’s ongoing commitment to transform Fish Lane into Brisbane’s leading dining and drinking laneway with integrated public artworks.
January 2016 | Oxley & Stirling Construction Commenced
Aria’s latest project, Oxley & Stirling commenced construction in late 2015. Icon Co is onsite and the project of 218 units over 15 storeys will benefit from an impressive resident’s rooftop club with infinity edge pool, sun decks, sunken lounges, private dining room, private theatre room and indoor/outdoor fitness centre.
December 2015 | St Julien Construction Commenced
Aria’s latest project, St Julien has commenced construction. PBS Building is onsite and the boutique project of 80 units which occupies a prominent north facing site with unsurpassed river, city and park views is due for completion in mid 2017.
November 2015 | Austin Wins Multiple UDIA Awards
Aria’s Austin received 3 awards at the 2015 QLD UDIA Awards for Best High Density Residential project in Queensland, Best Retail and Public Realm and the President’s Award for the best overall project in Queensland. Aria’s Jardin and Village Green were also finalists.
November 2015 | Botanica Complete and Retail Open
Aria’s Botanica Residences is 100% settled and owners and tenants have started moving into the building. Celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue’s Billykart restaurant is also open on the ground floor and has been receiving rave reviews.
October 2015 | Aria Wins Sustainability Award
Aria has been awarded the 2015 Business South Bank Sustainability Award for setting outstanding development examples throughout the South Brisbane precinct. Aria’s last four buildings have all incorporated green walls to promote carbon offsetting and to soften the landscape. Aria also ensures builders maximise the recycling and minimise waste to ensure an environmentally conscious approach.
September 2015 | Austin Wins Retail Award
Aria’s Austin project located on the corner of Grey Street and Fish Lane received the ‘Excellence in Presentation award in the Neighbourhood and Strip Centres category’ at the Property Council of Australia’s Retail Property of the Year Award for Julius Pizzeria, Maker and Gauge on the ground floor within Austin.
